COMMUNITY BY NATURE

Formerly known as Sefton Play Council, Community by Nature
is a Merseyside based charity whose aim is to improve the lives of children and adults  by encouraging participation in community learning,  play and forest school.

We believe engaging in varied activities improves our physical and emotional
well-being, builds confidence and enables us to overcome challenges
and obstacles in everyday life.

Since 1995 we have worked with schools, early years, play settings and youth and community groups delivering forest school sessions, play training, residentials, outdoor programmes and events and community learning schemes.

2020 sees us celebrating 25 years of innovative work and a move into new premises.

Happy Easter to our Friends in the Local Community

As you know, our centre is closed to the public for the foreseeable future but this didn't stop us seeing our local community and hand out bunches of daffodils for Easter!
We found that all our of Community by Nature's friends are self-isolating and as always, keen for a chinwag and catch up.

All were pleased to receive the flowers and we were pleased to see them all doing fine and well and doing the right things - sticking to the governments rule of
Stay home, Stay safe, Save lives 💙😷💙

If you know anyone who lives near the Queens Rd area who needs support with shopping or prescriptions then let us know, we are happy to assist.
If anyone is struggling with food shopping, please let them know they can come in to the centre and we have food parcels ready.
